President
Trump is keeping his promise to defend our steel and aluminum
industries
“For years,
politicians in Washington have propped up unfair trade deals
and opposed actions such as the one the president took on
Thursday,” writes Peter Navarro, Assistant to the president
and Director of the White House National Trade Council. “But

promises, that time has come to an end, and America’s

The Washington
Examiner reports that “the Department of Homeland
Security on Monday announced the creation of a steering
committee that will be tasked with finding ways to improve
security in schools around the country.” Anna Giaritelli
notes that “DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said the steering
committee would make sure all relevant national security
agencies are working with state and local officials to ensure
school safety.”

In The
Wall Street Journal, James Freeman writes that
“Friday’s jobs report from the Labor Department says that
in February Americans came back into the labor market in
droves. It’s hard to find a bad word to say about this latest
economic reading, which exceeded almost all expectations.”
That’s great news for U.S. businesses, which “have been
searching high and low for workers.”

“Last month, the White
House released President Trump’s long-awaited infrastructure
proposal,” Rep. Rob Woodall (R-GA) writes in The
Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “As a member of the
Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, it’s encouraging
to see America’s attention turn to an issue that I know is so
important to folks in our district, across the state, and
throughout the nation.”
