【USAMail magazine from the White House 2018-07-26】‘We don’t apologize for America anymore’

The White House • July 25, 2018

The Day Ahead

President Donald J. Trump will meet with the President of the European Commission to discuss fairer trade deals that strengthen America’s farmers and manufacturers.

We don’t apologize for America anymore’

President Trump promised to make honoring our veterans one of the top priorities of his Administration. Part of that promise means restoring American patriotism. “We don’t apologize for America anymore. We stand up for America,” the President told the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention yesterday in Missouri.
And we stand up for our National Anthem,” the President said to a thundering ovation.
Another part of that promise is making sure that our veterans receive the best healthcare in the world. That begins by holding the VA system accountable for misconduct and poor performance. Last June, President Trump signed the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act into law, making it easier to discipline bad actors, including senior executives.
The VA took more than 3,200 accountability actions—which include removals, suspensions, and demotions—from the beginning of the Trump Administration through the end this May. All told, those actions resulted in more than 2,500 removals from the system.

Religious persecution in Iran and China must end

Around the world, religious minorities are persecuted and stripped of human rights, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrote yesterday. “We need to hear the stories of those persecuted, tortured, falsely imprisoned, and killed for their faith. We can honor their sacrifices by preventing these atrocities from happening again,” he writes.
President Trump is taking action. This week, the State Department is bringing together religious leaders, survivors of persecution, and delegations from foreign governments for the first-ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom. Vice President Mike Pence and other senior Administration officials will be in attendance.
The goal is simple: to promote the God-given human right to believe what you choose.

【USAMail magazine from the White House 2018-07-26】 President Trump Tells Veterans He Will ‘Stand Up for America’

We don’t apologize for America anymore. We stand up for America. We stand up for the patriots who defend America,” President Donald J. Trump said today at the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention. “And we stand up for our national anthem,” the President added to a “thundering ovation.”
The President also touted reforms to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and “praised newly minted VA Secretary Robert Wilkie, who was in attendance one day after being confirmed by the Senate,” Jordan Fabian reports.
Thanks to the Trump administration’s pro-growth policies, the U.S. economy is booming,” Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump writes in The Dallas Morning News. “If we could more effectively build workers’ skills and bring more nonworking Americans off the sidelines, our economic future could be even brighter.”
In USA Today, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warns Iran and China to end their religious persecution. “We need to hear the stories of those persecuted, tortured, falsely imprisoned, and killed for their faith,” he writes. “We can honor their sacrifices by preventing these atrocities from happening again.”
Tax cuts only help the wealthy, right? American paychecks show otherwise,” Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James write in Fox News. “In every single congressional district, taxpayers are seeing a tax cut.”
In The Daily Caller, Paris Dennard writes that “the Senate must move quickly — put aside partisanship, do its job and confirm a stellar nominee, committed husband, father, mentor and servant leader to the Supreme Court: Judge Brett Kavanaugh.”
First Lady Melania Trump is advancing her mission to help America's children ‘Be Best,’” Jennifer Wishon reports in CBN News. Today, the First Lady “visited patients in an intensive care unit in Nashville, Tennessee, being treated for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) . . . a treatment necessary when babies are born to moms addicted to opioids.”
The US plans to remain the global leader for interoperable defence systems, partnering with allies and friends to develop cutting-edge military capabilities and then exporting them,” National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro writes in Financial Times. “The administration believes that responsibly expanding defence exports will strengthen the US’s manufacturing and defence industrial base, while strengthening partnership opportunities with allies.”

Thank you for taking the time to send me your thoughts and suggestions.
Yesterday, I was proud to host companies from across the country at the White House for the Made in America Product Showcase. Made in America products represent the global gold standard for quality, innovation, craftsmanship, and the output of a highly skilled workforce that is second to none.
Earlier this month, I proclaimed July 17, 2018 as Made in America Day. As a Nation, we continue to salute our Nation’s workers, job creators, and inventors. As President, I pledge to continue creating an environment that makes the United States the most attractive place in the world to do business.
Thank you again for your email. I encourage you to watch the event online as we celebrate and pay special tribute to those who work hard every day to make America great.
Sincerely,
Donald Trump

Thanks for human rights 【USAMail magazine from the White House 2018-07-25】Three words: Made in America

The White House • July 24, 2018

The Day Ahead

Visiting Missouri, President Donald J. Trump will speak at the national convention for the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Watch live at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Three words: Made in America

Boots from Texas, snowboards from Colorado, F-150 trucks from Michigan, and baseball bats from Pennsylvania—yesterday, products proudly made in the United States were on full display at President Trump’s second annual “Made in America” exhibit at the White House.
American manufacturing is back, as yesterday’s event showed the world. Nearly 350,000 manufacturing jobs have been created since President Trump took office, and surveys show that optimism among U.S. manufacturers recently hit an all-time high. “Our leaders in Washington did nothing—they did nothing. They let our factories leave. They let our people lose their jobs,” President Trump said.
That’s not free trade. That’s fool’s trade,” the President added.
America can do better—and it has. As a first order of business, President Trump is renegotiating past trade deals to benefit American workers. That tough line has already paid off: The Administration secured key changes to America’s trade agreement with South Korea, which includes provisions to increase U.S. automobile exports.

Senate confirms new Veterans Affairs leader

In an 86-9 vote last night, the Senate confirmed President Trump’s choice to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Wilkie.
The son of a wounded combat soldier, Wilkie understands the crucial role the VA plays for America’s veterans and their families. Wilkie himself is a veteran, having served on active duty from 2009 to 2010 and again in 2014. He is currently a United States Air Force Reservist.
He has displayed great patriotism and a commitment to supporting and empowering America’s armed forces and veterans,” President Trump said of Secretary Wilkie. “Under his leadership, I have no doubt that the Department of Veterans Affairs will continue to make strides.”

Thanks for human rights 【USAMail magazine from the White House 2018-07-25】 President Trump Holds “Made in America” Event at White House

President Trump held the second ‘Made in America’ event at the White House on Monday. The event, which was designed to celebrate the administration's economic policies, showcased products from each of the 50 states,” CBS News reports. President Trump said the event was part of “a great economic revival in the United States.”
The more we make things in America, the stronger America becomes,” the President added.
In The Post and Courier, Labor Secretary Alex Acosta writes that President Trump is reinvesting in the American workforce with his new National Council for the American Worker. “We need a national commitment to embrace the rapidly, ever-changing job demands to reskill and upskill our workforce,” Secretary Acosta explains.
In the Washington Examiner, Paul Bedard reports that “all 425 congressional districts have benefitted from tax cuts President Trump signed into law in December, with the potential payoff for a family of four reaching $44,697,” according to a new Heritage Foundation analysis.
The old cliché about turning around a battleship is true. It doesn't happen quickly. But something is happening at the United Nations that proves that changing course is possible,” write U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, Senior Adviser to the President Jared Kushner, U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, and Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt in CNN.
In The Daily Signal, Dominic Bayer and Thomas Jipping write that Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s past speeches “show that he fits squarely into the category of an impartial judge who tries to stay within the defined and limited role that judges were designed to have.” They conclude that “this is the kind of judge America needs.”
Washington Democrats seem to have a hard time accepting that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is working. At just over six months old, the facts are mounting against them,” Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) writes in the Washington Examiner. “The best part of it all? The best is yet to come.”

Tearing down barriers to work

We must tear down unnecessary barriers to work,” Labor Secretary Alex Acosta wrote Friday. “Excessive licensing forces individuals, like barbers, teachers and nurses, who move from state to state, to give up their career or retake certifications and pay high fees to get back to work.” He called on states to reevaluate their approaches.
On the heels of last week’s Pledge to America’s Workers, where more than 20 companies committed to investing in 3.8 million opportunities for our Nation’s workforce, Secretary Acosta ran through the myriad other ways the Trump Administration is expanding opportunity for all Americans:
The President has restored a commonsense approach to regulation, which should “focus on protecting health and safety,” Secretary Acosta says.
The Administration is helping transition Americans who are reentering society from prison to jobs, releasing $84.4 million in grants to community groups.
A new Executive Order in May helps alleviate the burden for military spouses as their families are reassigned from one state to another.
Thanks in part to tax cuts and reform, record unemployment lows were set for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Asian-Americans.

America’s reenergized space program

Friday marked Space Exploration Day, which commemorates the 1969 landing of the lunar module Eagle. Six hours after it touched down, Neil Armstrong became the first human in history to walk on the surface of the Moon.
Since I took office, my Administration has refocused our Nation’s space program on returning to the Moon, growing space commerce, leading the way for a human mission to Mars, and unveiling the secrets of our universe,” President Trump wrote Friday. “The exploration and development of space represent the best of American values, and we seek to ensure those values have a permanent place beyond Earth.”

# MeToo Menschenrechtsopfer! Angela Merkel an den Bundesminister der Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2018-07-24: Präsident Donald Trump kümmert sich um die Rechtsstaatlichkeit. Die chinesische Regierung und die philippinische Regierung ignorierten die Rechtsstaatlichkeit, ohne ihre Bürger zu verteidigen. Nur die internationale Gemeinschaft schützt sie.

<Öffentliche Post>

Thanks for human rights 【Reply by e-mail from President Trump 2018-07-23】 July 22, 2018 Thank you for taking the time to send me your thoughts and suggestions.

On Thursday, I was proud to sign an Executive Order establishing the President’s National Council for the American Worker. With unemployment rates reaching record lows, America’s labor force is stronger than ever. To help build on this success, my Administration is pledging to deliver on its promise to prioritize, expand, and improve workforce training so that all Americans have the chance to move into better jobs and earn bigger paychecks.
I encourage you to watch the incredible event at the White House as I take an important step in investing in a new generation of American workers. As President, I will continue to fight each day to implement policies and initiatives that benefit hardworking Americans.
Sincerely,
Donald Trump
