22, 2019, "Complete recycling of CO2 to stop global warming"
Sunday version: Dear Sir,
(COP25)
ended with some countries struggling to take more aggressive measures
to combat global warming, and the countries did not keep pace. To
realize the “Paris Agreement”, it is politically difficult to
take measures against global warming by reducing fossil fuels.
Measures should be changed to technology development to recycle CO2.
Part
1. The COP25 agreement document recognized that there is a “big
difference” between the greenhouse gas reduction targets currently
set by each country and the target to control the rise in temperature
adopted in the international framework for global warming
countermeasures “Paris Agreement”. The document, however, only
mentioned that it was “urgent to close the gap”.
The
“Paris Agreement” is important.
I
think it is politically difficult to combat global warming by
reducing fossil fuels.
Therefore,
the policy should be changed to “Technology development for CO2
recycling”.
Today
I will introduce the following:
A
technology that converts CO2 into useful chemical raw materials,
achieving a conversion speed 450 times faster than conventional
products.
Toshiba
announced that it has achieved about 450 times the conversion rate of
its catalytic technology that converts carbon dioxide (CO2) into
carbon monoxide, a raw material for chemicals and fuels such as
plastics and pharmaceuticals.
The
company aims to put it to practical use in the latter half of the
2020s as a technology that reduces CO2 emissions during standby.
This
technology makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions with high
efficiency and contribute to solving social issues to achieve the
goals of the Paris Agreement. The technology also aims to achieve
practical use in the latter half of the 2020s by realizing the system
saving space and low cost required for conversion.
In
recent years, rising levels of CO2 in the atmosphere are presumed to
contribute to global warming. In recent years, awareness of
decarbonization, such as SDGs and ESG investments, has spread not
only to the industrial world but also to the business community.
Under the Paris Agreement, Japan aims to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions by 80% by 2050, but it has become a major issue because CO2
emissions in industrial sectors such as factories have not been
reduced. Under such circumstances, the development of technology for
effectively using CO2 by converting it into a valuable material by a
chemical reaction (electrochemical reaction) involving electricity is
underway.
Each
country should give priority to technological development of
"complete recycling of CO2 to stop global warming" over
space development.

to next week.
Part
2. I advocate “complete recycling of fossil fuels” as a measure
against global warming from “abolition of fossil fuels”. Complete
recycling of “CO2 etc.”.
I
think it is technically possible.
The
realization is to make the cost lower than other energy.
Each
country should allocate the budget for space development to the
development of “complete recycling of CO2.”

3. Please support victims of human rights violations by the Japanese
government.
The
prosperity of the free world is “realized” by freedom, democracy,
and “domination under the law”.
I
seriously seek “rule of law”.
There
are many victims in the world due to "illegal punishment"
of "immigration law violation".
For
details, see the “Send on weekdays” email.
Please
instruct the person concerned to investigate.
There
are many American victims.
