Earlier
today, I signed the Perkins Career and Technical Education Act
into law. The act will help
more than 11 million students and workers have greater access
to technical and vocational education and higher paying jobs. This
afternoon, I am proud to be in Tampa, Florida, to host a
roundtable on workforce development, and I encourage you to join
me live.
My
Administration is committed to working with America’s businesses
to prioritize, expand, and improve workforce training.
Together, we are helping hardworking Americans across the country
move into better jobs and earn bigger paychecks.
