Earlier today, I visited Santa Fe, Texas, and met with the families of the victims of the horrible tragedy that occurred at Santa Fe High School. Melania and I continue to pray for the students, educators, and the entire community as they mourn the loss of their loved ones.
My Administration is continuing to commit every resource available to help the community of Santa Fe and the great State of Texas in the aftermath of this horrendous act of violence. While no one solution will prevent another terrible tragedy from ever happening again, as Americans we can work together to address mental illness and to support local and Federal law enforcement officials and other first responders. We also must be vigilant in our homes, schools, and communities.
