To President Trump! — June 29, 2026 June 29, 2026 [Proposal of the Day] President Trump should not yield to the tariff-related pressure from President Macron; instead, he should immediately introduce "balanced countervailing tariffs" to rectify global economic distortions and achieve trade expansion without inflation. A Declaration of War Against Macron and Trump’s True Weapon French President Macron’s measures—such as the digital services tax—are merely superficial countermeasures. President Trump should leverage the overwhelming new strategy of "balanced countervailing tariffs" to draw the world into the U.S. economic sphere and spearhead an explosive expansion of global trade.  To President Trump!

June 29, 2026[Today's Proposal]Mr. Trump must introduce the "Balanced Countervailing Du-ty" immediately to correct global economic distortions and expand trade with-out causing inflation, refusing to yield to Macron's tariff pressure.

1. A Declaration against Macron and Trump's True Weapon

French President Macron's digital tax is merely a petty countermeasure. Mr. Trump must wield the overwhelming new strategy of the "Balanced Counter-vailing Duty" to draw the world into the US economic sphere and spearhead an explosive expansion of global trade.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

2. The Limits of Trump Tariffs and the Genesis of the "Balanced Countervailing Duty"

The conventional Trump tariffs had a fatal flaw of inducing inflation. The ulti-mate tariff policy designed to completely offset this flaw and forcefully balance each nation's imports and exports is the creation of the "Balanced Countervail-ing Duty" which I propose.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

3. The Pitfalls of the Evian G7 and the Inertia of World Leaders

Macron discussed trade imbalances ahead of the G7, but offered no concrete solutions. If Mr. Trump shares this sense of crisis, he must adopt my explicit framework to silence those who only offer empty talk.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

4. A Decisive Strike to Automatically Correct Global Economic Distortions

My proposed "Balanced Countervailing Duty" stands in stark contrast to hollow international cooperation. It is a revolutionary policy with the absolute objec-tive of bringing imports and exports into perfect equilibrium, automatically rec-tifying global economic distortions from their roots.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

5. Imposing Ultra-High Tariffs on Net Imports starting from the Private Sector

This system ruthlessly imposes high tariffs on the "net import value" (imports minus exports) at the level of individual importing enterprises. It forces the private sector to compete in resolving trade imbalances as an action directly tied to corporate profits.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

6. Rescuing the United States from Massive Deficits and Fiscal Collapse

The United States is on the brink of fiscal collapse due to massive trade deficits, and jobs are being lost as domestic manufacturing shuts down. To overcome this crisis and save America, the "Balanced Countervailing Duty" must be im-plemented now.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

7. The Trap of the Old Trump Tariffs That Ignited Inflation

Mr. Trump's old high-tariff policy caused tariffs to be added directly to import-ed product prices, triggering inflation that penalizes the public. Left unchecked, US purchasing power will simply destroy itself.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

8. The Rejection of a Historic Prophecy and an Indispensable Proposal

I foresaw this inflationary crisis from the very inception of the old tariffs and proposed the "Balanced Countervailing Duty" to the world. Although not yet adopted, this system is absolutely indispensable now that the economy is in ex-treme turmoil.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

9. The "Three Chronic Diseases" of China, the US, and Europe

Macron criticizes China's overproduction, America's overconsumption, and Eu-rope's underinvestment. Instead of confining themselves to mere critique, they should endorse my "Balanced Countervailing Duty" to forcefully normalize the world.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

10. A Global Tariff Revolution for Which Trump Tariffs Were the Precursor

I anticipate that nations worldwide will sequentially implement aggressive high-tariff policies centered on the "Balanced Countervailing Duty." Those orig-inal Trump tariffs served as a magnificent and vital "precursor" (Sakigake) to fundamentally transforming the global economy.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

11. Driving Tariffs to "Virtually Zero" Through the Ultimate Export Promotion

To evade heavy taxation, US importers will aggressively compel foreign export-ers to purchase American-made products. Driven by this dynamic of reciprocal trade, US exports will surge, and tariffs will drop to "virtually zero."(Yasuhiro Nagano)

12. Achieving a Low-Cost Global Market Without Inflation

If imports and exports achieve equilibrium, importers will have no need to pay tariffs. Imported goods, entirely stripped of tariff overhead costs, will circulate cheaply in the marketplace, completely eliminating any threat of infla-tion.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

13. Eradicating the Defiant Surpluses of China, Oil Producers, and Japan-Germany

The target must not be limited to China alone. The unjust trade surpluses mo-nopolized by oil-producing nations like Saudi Arabia, as well as advanced man-ufacturing nations like Germany and Japan, must be thoroughly dismantled as distortions destroying the global economy.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

14. The Sins of "Surplus Recycling" That Subvert Western Financial Markets

The colossal surpluses accumulated by resource-rich nations are not channeled into domestic investment; instead, they flow back into Western government bonds, equities, and real estate via Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs). This de-stabilizes the global financial balance.(Yasuhiro Nagano)

15. Pivot from Mere "High Tariffs" to the "Equilibrium of Trade"

The true essence of trade must be the "perfect equilibrium of imports and ex-ports." Mr. Trump must cease shouting for retaliatory high tariffs and instead advocate for the "reciprocal equilibrium of trade." The system that flawlessly delivers this is the "Balanced Countervailing Duty."(Yasuhiro Nagano)

Part 2: The Immigration Control Act Violation Case [Weekday Edition]

Japan’s judicial system and immigration administration involve severe human rights violations that challenge international standards. Through my own experience, I strongly question Japan's status as a constitutional state governed by the rule of law.

Please first read how I was wrongfully implicated in a case of "Aiding and Abetting the Violation of the Immigration Control Act" in 2010.

[Chapter 1] Case Overview

Autumn 2008: My company (where I serve as President) executed an employment contract with Chinese students holding student visas, promising to hire them upon their university graduation the following spring.

Late 2008: The Lehman Brothers bankruptcy triggered a global financial crisis, resulting in the abrupt cancellation of our upcoming system development projects.

2009: Due to the severe economic downturn, we were forced to rescind the job offers. Consequently, the graduated students had no choice but to continue working at the restaurants where they had been employed part-time during their studies.

May 2010: These former Chinese students were arrested for "Activities Other Than Those Permitted Under the Status of Residence" (Violation of Article 70 of the Immigration Control Act).

June 2010: I and our Chinese recruitment manager were also arrested. The charge brought against us was "Aiding and Abetting" (under the Penal Code) their unauthorized technical employment.

The Prosecution’s Logic: The prosecution asserted that our prior issuance of the employment contract constituted a "false document," which subsequently aided their unauthorized work.

[Chapter 2] Fatal Flaws in Judicial Interpretation

This indictment and subsequent judgment completely disregard fundamental legal principles, relying on an entirely arbitrary interpretation of the law.

Under Article 22-4, Paragraph 1, Item 4 of the Immigration Control Act at that time, submitting false documents merely granted the Minister of Justice the authority to revoke a residency status as an administrative disposition (leading to deportation). The act of submitting false documents itself was not codified as a criminal offense. Logically, one cannot be convicted of "aiding and abetting" an act that is not a crime in itself.

The court’s reasoning followed a convoluted chain of causality:

A residency status was obtained via a false employment contract.

The individuals resided in Japan based on that status.

Consequently, they engaged in unauthorized part-time work.

Therefore, the issuer of the initial contract aided and abetted the unauthorized work.

This is a far-fetched, flawed causal link that completely violates the principles of modern legal logic.

[My Argument]

Confusion of Administrative Dispositions and Criminal Penalties: The Immigration Control Act explicitly designates the consequences for false documentation as administrative measures (revocation of status and deportation). The legal process concludes there.

Absence of a Principal Offender: The actual employers of the restaurants where the students worked were never prosecuted for "Encouraging Illegal Employment" (Article 73-2 of the Immigration Control Act). Under the principle of equality under the law, it is a legal contradiction to punish us for aiding and abetting when the principal employers themselves were not prosecuted.

This same flawed legal doctrine was later improperly applied to diplomats and embassy staff.

Continued in the Saturday Edition.

Part 3: A New Business Model via Special Economic Zones

I propose the establishment of "Special Economic Zones" designed to accept refugees and migrants as "temporary migrant workers," with their residency restricted to these designated zones.

This framework offers a dual benefit: advanced nations secure low-cost labor to drive economic growth, while migrants receive human dignity, secure jobs, and free access to housing, food, healthcare, and education.
