Even with the current defense budget, the people of each country are "exhausted". Government leaders should know the teaching of the ancient Chinese teaching (Analects of Confucius) that "what is important to protect a country is not military equipment, but the trust of the people".

The Analects is the teachings of Confucius that teach the "knowledge" of the "kings of various countries" in the "ancient Warring States period", and its teachings are still relevant today.

Confucius' teachings are "Min Shin Nakuba Tatazu". In modern translation, it means "Without the trust of the people, politics cannot exist."

This comes from Confucius' teaching that the most important things in conducting politics are "military equipment, food, and the trust of the people," and that among them, "trust is the most important."
