Zelensky strongly requested the provision of Tomahawk missiles, but President Trump refused and indicated his intention not to provide them. Zelensky has not given up. He will likely attempt to start World War III again at a later date.

Russia has been suffering from a severe fuel shortage since the summer due to Ukraine's concentrated attacks on oil refineries. If Tomahawk missiles were provided to Ukraine, the damage would be unimaginable.
